The SRT Viper is just getting out into the wild. Even Jay Leno was only able to get his hands on his three Vipers. Most companies when they’ve finished producing one of the most anticipated vehicles of the year would take a break before figuring out what to tackle next. Doesn’t look like the people behind the Viper are ready to take that vacation just yet.

GTSpirit.com has gotten their hands on a leaked online showing the five year plan that Chrysler has. Every major make and model will be seeing something new on the horizon. For the SRT brand, the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is the expected to introduce a solid rival to the current Viper. Power-wise, the Corvette is looking to give the Viper a run for its money. That means in order to keep up, the Viper will probably be getting an upgrade.

No word on anything official, even the listed five-year plan is pretty scarce on details. What comes next could be a massive overhaul to create a Viper like the Viper SRT10 ACR. It could just be the same build with a new engine or other modifications underneath the hood. Only the future will tell with what comes next. It’s just good to know that the team at SRT is not looking to fall behind anytime soon.
