The SEMA Show that will be happening soon in Las Vegas has gotten Chrysler to put its best foot forward. Mopar has already teased the public with multiple vehicles that they plan on “Moparizing.” Ram trucks and Chrysler sedans are all getting that special touch that only Mopar can provide to give it the edge over anything the competition has. That being said, the parts company seems to have been holding off on revealing details on one final car. There’s no doubt that this is intended to be the star of the show they plan on showing.
Amog.com has the details on which car has been chosen to lead the charge into the SEMA Show. It’s none other than the hotly anticipated 2013 Viper SRT. Carrying the name “The Snake” Mopar is putting all of its best efforts into making this super-car truly one of a kind.
Amongst the features that the 2013 Viper SRT “The Snake” will receive from being Mopar-ized is being 50 percent lighter than the factory model due to a carbon-fiber cross beam. Mopar coil springs will give it better suspension combined with the carbon-fiber aero package. The Viper’s new Stryker logo will be placed on an aluminum and carbon-figer engine cover.
“The Snake” keeps the 640-hp V10 as an engine but gets a bump up on the outside by having track pack wheels and a LED fog lamp fit. That same quality doesn’t just stay outside as the interior of the vehicle gets undeniable comfort with Katzkin leather along with yellow accents designed to complement with the Viper’s bright yellow paint job.
