Special Edition Pearl White SRT Viper GTS To Be Auctioned

2013_srt_viper_f34_ns_52813_600The Sons of Italy Foundation is the charity arm of the Sons of Italy in America, also known as OSIA.  Their aim is to preserve Italian American culture and helping with the education of Italian Americans.  To that end, they just got a special one-of-a-kind SRT Viper GTS to auction off.

This is a one-off Viper GTS just for them.  It’s got a tri-coat pearl white paintjob and black vapor chrome wheels.  Inside, the colors of the Italian flag are on the seats and a GTS badge, also painted in the colors of the Italian flag, is right on the glovebox.

The Sons of Italy Foundation will be auctioning this unique and amazing vehicle at some unknown date in the future.  There’s no word yet even on what the worth is for the special Viper.  I can’t imagine that this thing is leaving the auction floor cheaply.

The fine folks at SRT even put together a YouTube video teasing the one-of-a-kind Viper:

New SRT Viper in the Next Five Years?

V2-130139998.jpg&maxW=630The SRT Viper is just getting out into the wild. Even Jay Leno was only able to get his hands on his three Vipers. Most companies when they’ve finished producing one of the most anticipated vehicles of the year would take a break before figuring out what to tackle next. Doesn’t look like the people behind the Viper are ready to take that vacation just yet.

GTSpirit.com has gotten their hands on a leaked online showing the five year plan that Chrysler has. Every major make and model will be seeing something new on the horizon. For the SRT brand, the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is the expected to introduce a solid rival to the current Viper. Power-wise, the Corvette is looking to give the Viper a run for its money. That means in order to keep up, the Viper will probably be getting an upgrade.

No word on anything official, even the listed five-year plan is pretty scarce on details. What comes next could be a massive overhaul to create a Viper like the Viper SRT10 ACR. It could just be the same build with a new engine or other modifications underneath the hood. Only the future will tell with what comes next. It’s just good to know that the team at SRT is not looking to fall behind anytime soon.
