Get Ready for the Rebirth of the Dodge Demon!

The Dodge Demon is coming back from the dead.  This reanimated muscle car will be what puts the Hellcat to shame.

At the New York International Auto Show in April, Dodge will be showing off their latest and greatest muscle car to date; the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.  The challenger for the Demon’s return is to see if it can top the already massively impressive Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcat.  That’s quite the feat for Dodge to attempt.

“Most cars attempt to be everything to everybody.  Then there are the rare few that revel in a single objective, rending them totally irresistible to subculture,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of Passenger Car Brands for FCA North American in a statement.  “The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is conceived, designed and engineered for a subculture of enthusiast who know that a tenth is a car and a half second is your reputation.”

In the upcoming days and weeks, Dodge will be teasing out glimpses of the Demon.  The first is n their new website dedicated to the Demon reveal, www.ifyouknowyouknow.com.  The first is a video called “Cage” which is a tease of things to come.

Dodge Viper ACR Added to Forza Horizon 3

Sometimes the only way that most people will get the chance to get behind the wheel of some of the world’s fastest supercars is thanks to video games.  Forza Horizon 3 will be helping to provide Dodge Viper fans with the addition of the Dodge Viper ACR to the long line-up of vehicles in the game.

It’s part of a new DLC pack being added to the game called the Alpinestars Car Pack.  The Dodge Viper ACR will be joining in along with other vehicles such as the 2017 BMW M4 GTS, 2017 Acura NSX, and the 1978 Talbot Lotus Sunbeam.

The Dodge Viper ACR is considered one of the world’s fastest track cars.  It’s perfect for a game to give drivers the chance to experience the ACR at its full glory, even if it’s steering with a controller in hand.

Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat Production Number Not Known Yet

Tim Kuniskis, CEO and President of Dodge, wanted to squash a rumor going around about the new Hellcat models of the 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger.  According to some, the new models will have a very limited run of only 1,200 cars.  This, quite frankly, is just not true according to Kuniskis.

“That rumor about the 1,200 cars really upset a lot of people,” he is quoted as saying by Mlive.com.  “I want to get as many of the cars out on the road, I want to get as many people talking about Dodge and excited about Dodge as possible.”

The real number as of this time is unknown.  Dodge has not settled on how many of each they plan to make.  The only thing for sure is that the number is not 1,200.

“I don’t know what the life cycle’s going to be,” Kuniskis continued.  “I was very clear when we launched the Challenger: If you missed the first muscle car area, don’t miss this one.  I don’t know how long this could last, so take advantage of it now.”

The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is the most powerful sedan ever with 707 horsepower from a HEMI V8 Hellcat engine.  All the styling and comfort of the Charger all tied together to be one of the most powerful rides on the market.
