Drivers who are shelling out the money for a 2013 SRT Viper are hardly the types of people who want to blend in. It isn’t surprising then that SRT has announced a whole new set of add-ons and upgrades to the Viper that fans will be ready and eager to buy.
First up is a handmade, 30-layer carbon-fiber x-brace. This runs $3175 and will replace the Viper’s aluminum unit. There is additionally a carbon fiber-wrapped satchel, which SRT has not announced the price as of yet, and a carbon fiber engine cover for $880. You can see the carbon-fiber x-brace below.
Next up are the exhaust upgrades. There is a performance cat-back exhaust system for $668 and a racing exhaust system for $1005. SRT recommends that drivers who spring for the racing exhaust system should also pick up the performance header kit for $3495. That performance header kit includes dual 5-into-1 collectors and a 1.75-inch final pipe diameter.
Finally, SRT has some great upgrades that are more about appearance and comfort than the car’s actual driving performance. There is a new charging pad for smartphone users that runs $275. Up until now, the Dodge Dart was the only Mopar vehicle that had the charging pad, but it is now available as an upgrade for the Viper. Visually, drivers can add door sill guards with the Viper logo for $205, aluminum alloy pedals with the Viper logo and a dead pedal with the Stryker logo for $255, a billet aluminum/carbon fiber knob for $163, a black leather and chrome shift knob for $158, and Lycra vehicle covers in red, black, and blue for $352. Leather interior will also be available soon, but the price has not yet been announced. The sillplate can be seen below.
